Tabula Rogeriana — al-Idrisi’s World Map
A later copy of the world map compiled in 1154 by the Andalusi geographer Muhammad al-Idrisi for King Roger II of Sicily. Drawn with south at the top, it remained among the most accurate maps of the known world for three centuries.
